Neil Coe, Dariuz Wojcik and myself organised 3 sessions on ‘Integrating Finance into Global Production Networks (GPN)‘ at the RGS-IBG conference in London (28-30 August 2013). We had a rich selection of papers that really echoed and also built on the themes of our opening paper (of the same title, available here). Thanks to all presenters and attendees for their enthusiastic response and discussion. We hope to continue building on the idea of global financial network (GFN) and look forward to seeing more research on finance and business services in GPNs.
