First PhD student’s oral defence

A great moment last week as I attended the oral defence of my first PhD student, Yvonne Guo, at the NUS Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (co-supervised with Professor Ramesh). She fielded the questions really well on various aspects of ‘Midshore Financial Centres and the Emerging Tax Transparency Regime’. I very much enjoyed the insightful and rigorous discussion amongst the examiners and advisors as well. Also privileged to meet Professor Danny Quah, who chaired the session beautifully. Congratulations to newly minted Dr Yvonne Guo!
