Eurasian Geographies and Economics Colloquium on ‘Financing Belt and Road Initiative’

I have been working on a collection of commentaries about the intersections of finance and geopolitics in studying the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and this has just been published in Eurasian Geography and Economics (https://www.tandfonline.com/toc/rege20/61/2) ** Open Access until 30 June 2020 ** as “Research Colloquium: Financing the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI)”. This came out of a paper session and plenary lecture at the 1st FinGeo Global Conference 2019 in Beijing in September last year. Thanks to fast submission from authors and super quick turnaround from the journal! It’s been a pleasure putting it together with my co-editors, Shaun Lin and James Sidaway, with really interesting and diverse insights from Mick Dunford, Weidong Liu (with Yajing Zhang & Wei Xiong), Tim Summers and Simon Rowedder. Many thanks to the editors Craig Young and Tim Oakes for being so supportive of this project.
